Welcome to Wastlbauer
Organic Experience Farm

Here at the Wastlbauerhof, lived history and fresh pioneer spirit come together. Our family has called this place home since 1786, rooted in the local farming tradition yet always open to new ideas. Between lakes and gentle hills, we grow vegetables on 2,000 m² using the Market Garden method, tend orchards and forests, raise our animals with care, and share our harvest through a small farm shop and our seasonal farm tavern.

We work by hand, with intention and according to the principles of permaculture. The result is food that not only tastes vibrant and alive, but also nurtures the soil, supports biodiversity, and strengthens the land we care for.

Whether you arrive as a guest in our cozy country-style accommodations, join one of our workshops or retreats, or simply spend a relaxed summer Friday enjoying homemade cakes, juice or cider in our tavern — here you can experience real farm life, up close and unfiltered.

Feel free to explore our website and discover how you can join in: participate in our courses or seminars, lend a hand in the vegetable garden on a Thursday, or enjoy fresh, seasonal produce each week with one of our harvest credit options.

Our specialty is creating a place where people, nature, and curiosity meet — a living farm that invites you to learn, slow down, get inspired, and get your hands in the soil.

Authentic. Welcoming. Alive.
We look forward to meeting you at the Wastlbauerhof.

What we offer

“Swapping the computer for a pitchfork wasn’t easy. But every lesson is a gift and it is rewarding to share not only our produce, but also our challenges and journey to encourage others to begin their own farming transformation.”
